About Angel
Hello, I'm Angel, a chocolate Labrador Retriever. I was born in May 17, 2018. I have a personality! I'm sassy, wild, feisty, curious, happy and very lovable. My mothers name is Dakota, and she was part of the New Life team until she became a breeder.
From Angel's Handlers
"After Hope left, I never imagined that I would love another dog the way I loved her. What we shared was beyond special. Angel has changed al that for me. I'm blessed to have loved, lost, and then loved again. Thank you New Life K9s!" -Richie

Hi friends and family! I had a fun time with my longtime pal, Cooper for my second birthday. Our birthdays are only six days apart. His is on May 11th and mine is on the 17th. We really enjoyed our birthday cakes this year!
P.S. I miss my Puppy Parent, Curry!

This month I just wanted to say that I miss my weekend mom so much. I haven't seen her in a long time. If you see her, can you tell her that I love and miss her? Thank you! I'm staying safe and remaining at the prison for now. I hope you are all doing well too.

Angel here! This month I'm helping my new handlers learn all the in's and out's of the program. It's fun getting to know new people! Per usual, my Puppy Parent is AWESOME! Everybody says I'm on track. Can't wait!
March 2020 Update

This month I've been having fun learning to follow behind my humans. I normally follow at their sides, but now do it from directly behind them. We've been revisiting a lot of what I already know like alert (anytime I want to get my human's attention), bracing (helping them up when they're either on the floor or sitting down on a chair/ bench), getting closer to be by their side, helping pick-up their leash when they accidentally drop it on the floor, freezing in place when asked, and finally, my favorite, running to them when they call from a long distance. You should see how fast I can run!

Angel here! I'm always learning how to be a lady in public with "magnificent manners." I've also been having fun selecting items and giving them to my handlers. I'm getting used to spending time with new people and other handlers. I'm sure I'll come to love them soon enough. With my weekend puppy family I went to Avila Valley Barn again. It was fun to see all of the animals! Not sure what that cat was doing on the table, (see photo). That's it for now, catch ya later!

This month I've been learning what a wallet and keys are. I have fun getting them when asked to retrieve those items. On a more exciting note, I got to go to a kid birthday party, a soccer game (look at that picture), farmers market, and hair salon.

It's me, Angel. I've been having lots of fun meeting new people in the program. It keeps growing and growing! I've learned some of their names. I'd retrieve an item (favorite toys or medicine bottles) and take it to them. I really enjoy it. As usual, I'm having so much fun on the weekends. I went to a soccer game and watched little humans run back and fourth. Whenever we go to a restaurant, I find a spot and take a nap.
