About Carina
Hi, my name is Carina, as in the star constellation, Carina. I'm a labradoodle and I was born on 7/26/19 at Premier Labradoodles. I love people more than anything, and I especially love to cuddle them. I want to meet every person I possibly can, but I'm learning to stay focused on my own humans because they love and take care of me. I'm told I'm brave because I'm willing to try anything. But I'm not so brave when meeting new dogs at first. Once I have a couple minutes to get to know them though, I'm ready to play. I have so much fun going to work/school to learn and to play with my friends. I hear I'm very smart and a quick learner, whatever that means.

I am growing so fast! Either that, or everything else is getting smaller. I'm not sure what's going on, but I do know that I can reach so many more things now, and I don't fit on laps as easily anymore.
With being able to reach stuff so easily, I'm really having to learn what things are toys and what things aren't. Even though my mom tells me that a lot of things aren't toys, they sure look fun to me. I'm also learning the names of a lot of stuff, and how to find things. I really love people and love to say hi to them, but everyone keeps telling me that I'm supposed to keep my feet on the floor. It's so hard when everyone is so much taller than me, and I'm just so enthusiastic about meeting people. I walk very nicely on leash, except when I get excited. Then, it's SO HARD. I tell my mom how hard it is by whining and bark/crying, but she still makes me be patient and walk closer to her. I also try to be very respectful of Bunbun, but when she moves, she is SO Exciting, I just can't help but want to play with her. She's just so soft and fluffy, really can you blame me?
Thankfully, I have Peanut and the other dogs at New Life to play with. Sometimes, there are so many dogs, it's overwhelming for me. Although I'm shy with other dogs, when I meet them one-on-one, I quickly learn they are my friends and I enjoy playing with them.

So since I've joined New Life K9s, I've learned to "better hurry" outside, even using the doggie door on my own. I've been learning something called "nose work" where I use my nose to find yummy treats hidden in boxes. I'm learning my colors and already know blue and yellow. I can identify multiple shapes too. I know how to answer yes/no questions and how to open a cabinet door. I'm working on the refrigerator door, but it's too heavy for me. Maybe when I get bigger. I'm growing very fast. I don't understand how that's happening. I'm learning patience, table manners, and how to be respectful of Bunbun. That's really hard because she's so much fun to chase. I want to play with her so bad! I've heard that I walk very well on and off the leash. I guess that's because I like to stay next to the human I'm with. And guess what? I learned to ride a skate board!
