About Carson
My name is Carson. I am an easy going, laid back Retriever, born December 1, 2018. I came from a long line of legendary, strong, magnificent beings who are known for changing lives.

So this past month was kinda slow for me because I got neutered. The worst thing about that was I couldn't play for like 2 weeks and I had to wear some crazy plastic thing on my head at night. I have started to learn how to open the locker door with a tug toy tied to it and it was very fun. I look forward to this next year and learning more stuff with my friends and everyone who is involved in my success as a service dog.

Hello! My names is Carson. I am well-mannered and super intelligent for my age. Not to mention, extremely confident and goofy. I know I will make a great service go one day! Right now, I'm trying to learn my yes and no's, but it's difficult sometimes. I get it right most of the time, but my handlers are always switching it up on me, so it gets confusing. Sometimes, I'll pick both to avoid the frustration, but now even that doesn't work anymore. I guess I'll have to get it right the first time. At least it feels good to now that I have an option. "Yes" to peanut butter! "No" to nail cutting. Plus, I only have a 50/50 chance of getting it wrong. But, I love rawhides! Especially ones that are soft and have already been chewed on by other dogs. I love fetch, gopher holes, and sticking my entire head in gopher holes.

This is Carson again! I am learning every day what behavior is good, and what is rude behavior. I get really excited when I get to go play with my brothers and my friends and I start barking. My handlers tell me this is rude and sometimes I have to wait until I settle down before I can play. I just started to learn to use my we-leash, at least that is what my handler calls it. I just like to rawhide he puts in it for me and I try to get my friends to see I got a rawhide and they don't. I also love to learn colors with two plastic balls that my handler calls pink and blue. I get them mixed up sometimes but it's always fun and I like trying to chew those balls up. Playtime is pretty much the best time ever. I love playing with my best friend Delta. We like chasing each other and playing together. Belly rubs are the best and my handlers are getting pretty good at listening to me when I am asking for a belly rub. Also, peanut butter is the best, but my handlers like to hide it inside of rawhides, which makes it hard to get.

Woohoo, my first update ever! I'm Carson! I genuinely like most people, but if you really want to be my friend, some milk bone, peanut butter, or a good belly rub will put you on the fast track to a great friendship. My goals and what I aspire to be in life is a great service dog. I plan on doing this by being taught through love, compassion, understanding, and patience. I have two handlers who love me and a whole team behind me who are also teaching my brothers and sister. Everyday I learn something new. My hobbies are sniffy walks, chasing and looking for gophers, gnawing on my raw hides, playing with my brothers and sister, and spending quality time with my handlers. We love having long conversations. With my puppy parent I have been having the time of my life. Going to PetSmart was the best because I picked out a new toy and treats. I'm getting exposed to all sorts of new things! That's it for now, see you next time!
