Hello world! I'm miss Dancer the dancing Labradoodle, but I don't dance on the dance floor. I dance into your hearts. My teacher and friend Glenn is a really good guy and I can be a handful at times. I hope you will continue to stay updated on my journey in life and becoming a service dog.

I've been working on a variety of different things with my two servants (lol). I know it's not what they call themselves when they are talking amongst each other or with other giant humans who seem to act just like them to a dog. However, it's what I call them at times in a joking manner. I mean they love me and all, but who also can get someone to bath them, feed them, give them water, groom them, pick up the poop of another and not get tired of it!? they are cool people though all in all.
We've been working on my "ick," behind, and red light green light. I'm getting it a little bit. I like the beginning excitement part about it the most. They just let me run and chase them around the room that has light switches just about everywhere. I've noticed my confidence is building regarding barriers. That has been fun. I'm working towards the shapes I haven't gotten too well, but I am going to. I'm most proud about my "Yahoo." I've got that down like a champ in my opinion.
Usually, I've been working on being away from Felix and Dave. I'm not fond of it, but I'm learning to be ok with it in stages. It aint easy though. I'm getting there slowly, but surely.
Dave asked me, but I'm working on finding out who put that info on the internet about ball playing and joints or whatever... I miss playing with the ball beyond 2 rounds!
February 2020 Update
This is Dancer and I am a complete bundle of energy. Some how, some way, both of my handlers seem to enjoy calling me the name "Tina Turner." I don't mind it, though just as long as they keep on giving me the love. Felix and David have me working on this word that appears to mean come to one of them. I think it's "yahoo" or something that's equivalent to it. They also have been putting a cap on what I deem fun unfortunately. I liked jumping out on people and barking for just about whatever, but these guys appear not to enjoy me doing that. It's going to be a great task for me, but I'll give it my best. Finally, I have to mention the fact that these same two guys have me working on "ick" and playing with other dogs I've never played with when I was younger, which is fun to me. I am VERY happy/excited when Felix and David let me play with ANY ball! It isn't as often as I came familiar with, but I certainly do enjoy it. Whether it's the field on fox yard, the area between the church, or around the yard I tend to spend the majority of my time at. I truly enjoy when I get to eat those sticks of meat they give me. Before I go, just know this: if you have a ball, I'm in with no question! See ya'll next month!
January 2020 Update
This month I've been opening the door as well as retrieving things that people ask me to get. I've been practicing my relaxation when I go to public events and functions. This month, I've been really playing and vining with Dante. He is such a great playmate. With this I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas because for me and my brother Blitzen, it's the best holiday of the year!
December 2019 Update
Hello there! I want to let you all know that my behavior issues are getting a lot better. We are moving ahead now to open non close doors because a girl needs to know how to get in and out of the house. Thank you all for coming to say hi. Dancing machine out!
October 2019 Update
Hello, my name is Dancer! Becoming a service dog isn't an easy task, but I'm clearly up for the challenge. I've been working really hard on getting some of my bad behavior turned around. I'm a big mouth. Every time I see a new dog I always have something to say and if you have poodle in your blood, then you know what I'm talking about. I'm improving greatly, so if you see me in passing, give me some props! I love playing fetch and having fun time with my two friends, Maria and Cubby, but what I enjoy the most is taking walks with my teacher. We find some good grass in the shade and just melt into each other's presence.
