About Darla
Hello everyone, my name is Darla. My sister, Miss T (my littermate) and I have come from Arizona to CMC-West NLK9s service dog school because it's the best in California. A lot of family members are also attending this school. Here at this school, my educators give me tons of love, attention, and choices.

Hey everybody it's been a really fun month! I've been learning new skills which I’ve enjoyed and have been practicing. When I go out with my puppy parents, I’m able to show off my skills and confidence while at stores and in public places. I used to struggle in public places but thanks to my handlers and puppy parents, I have been thriving! We, take care and I'll talk to everyone soon.

Hi, friends! It's been such a long time since my last update but I hope you all have been doing great. I’ve had so much fun these past few months in school.
We’ve all been learning new skills which I enjoy so much. When I'm out on the town I’ve been doing better at not trying to greet other dogs which my Puppy Parents have helped me with by talking to me (they love me so much). I'm going out much more into stores and learning that not every smell is for me to investigate. I've also found that my vest isn’t as bad as I thought it was but I’m still not a big fan.

Hi everybody! It's been a good month I’ve been working with my vest more which I don’t like because it's just so hideous but It's starting to grow on me. I’ve also been learning with my friends to not go into the box that humans throw away perfectly good food in its tempting but I trust my humans when they say that it's not for me and I got to go out and explore the world more which is always fun for me.
I love playing tug, going in the water, and playing. Hanging out with my friends is the best! I've been going on hikes with my puppy raiser. Talk to everyone soon!

Hi,
It's Darla! This month I worked on chilling out with my humans when they do. I love to sniff around because there are so many interesting smells! I know sometimes it is not the right time to be doing that. My humans are helping me to know when it is the right time to do that. They are also helping me to know when I can just relax. Other times we have lots of fun playing tug and frisbee! Talk to everyone soon!

Hello everyone,
Happy independence day! I took a great summer vacation from school (NLK9S Academy). I got to spend time with my mommy and went to the store, post office, and the dog park. The park was awesome because I got to meet new dogs that don't go to my school.
There is also a new student at New Life K9s. Her name is Debbie and she's my neighbor. She's so cute! We play and I make sure to take it easy on her. I can't wait until she gets bigger and can play hard. Well until next time!

Hey this is Darla,
COVID 19 has placed all of the students on home-study but not me! I love my service dog school. I have been having lots of fun playing and learning. I love playing Hide-n-seek.
