December 2022 Update
Hi guys, my name is Rex and the skill I worked on with my dad this month was how to nudge. It makes it easy to turn on the light. I really enjoyed it. My dad said I’ll soon be turning on the big lights. Right now, I’m still a little baby. But he says that with practice, patience, and persistence. I’ll be doing it in no time.
Next month my dad said I’ll be turning on the light to the demo box. Then the light switch that are higher up. This is one of my goals. Another goal is to do the other skills like turn, center, and retrieve. I’ll let you know what I do next month.
Thank you - Love,
Rex -
November 2022 Update
This month I worked on a lot of things with my handler and the guys here at CMC. I'm excited because I worked on freeze with my handler and he gave me a bunch of jerky for doing a great job. I also got to go out and explore what society looks like with my puppy parent. I really like my puppy parent because she takes me to the stores and I love riding in the car. All in all, I had a cool month and I can't wait to see what December brings... My handlers birthday is in December, and I might surprise him by doing a couple of back flips.

October 2022
Hi guys! My name is Rex (The King) that’s what my handler calls me.
I had a whole lot of fun yesterday. I went to graduation! I got to see Little Debbie and Ruthie graduate. I was happy for them, and yet kind of sad because my big sister moved on. I sure do hope to see them again! I got to meet a lot of different people yesterday, and they all told me how cute I am. I could also see the glow in my handlers eyes as people gave me pets! I love to see my handler happy, because he loves me and shows me unconditional love.
The highlight of my day was when all of the guests cheered when I was doing my demo. My handler was so proud he couldn’t stop talking about it. Oh, I almost forgot! Warden Samuels took me to his office after graduation. It was awesome! He is such a cool guy. He gave me lots of treats and showed me off to all of his friends. I have to go because I am still a little tired. May God bless you all. My handler taught me to say that. Love, Rex
