About Jimmy
Hey guys! I'm Jimmy, the cutest labradoodle in all of P.V.S.P. My handlers tell me I'm directly related to someone named "Chewbacca." I don't know who that is...

Hi all,
This month has been hectic. I did get a new haircut though! I like it a lot. I have been playing with my brothers that are in here with me. Recently I have been going to my puppy parents' for the weekend and that has been fun. It felt like I hadn't seen them in a million years! Well until next time!

Hello to everyone reading this! Today I would like to say I hope everyone is going OK and been staying safe. Everything is going good for me. We've been doing a lot of teaching. I learned how to get a pill bottle, walk side by side with my handler, and just having fun spending time with him, my brothers, and Nala. Please enjoy each day and love each other during these times.
Your favorite K9,

Hello, it's me, Jimmy! :) I want to let everyone know that I'm doing OK with this COVID-19 situation. The only thing I could say is my handler put me on a bubble. He thinks he's helping me keep safe but he's a little crazy. That's why I love him! I'm enjoying spending time with my brothers and Nala. Everyone, keep safe!

If you're reading this, please don't worry! I'm safe. :) I enjoy my handlers when they do their best to help me. I enjoy giving them a run for their money. But it's out of love. Plus, they need the exercise. Mostly I do it to keep them young at heart. They're like 1,000 in dog years. My handlers chew up all my toys, which was uncool of them. I told them that wasn't cool. Get your own toys! Look at me, I need toys! :)

Throughout this month I've been learning cognitive and confidence building exercises.
One of the cognitive exercises I've been practicing is identifying colors. My handlers will hold out two different colored balls, and ask me to point out the one they ask me to.
The confidence exercises I'm being taught are how to walk through a sheet without knowing what's on the other side, stepping on and going over a knee high platform, and how to walk on a wobble board. Both of these skills will help me become a better service dog in the future.
My favorite thing to do is playing with my handlers. I have this stuffed fox (well not so stuffed now), but it's a toy I really enjoy playing with. My handler and I like to play keep-away with the stuffed fox. Most of the time I can be a toy hog, but lately I've been letting him win. In a way, I'm helping him boost up his confidence as a handler.

Wow. Let me tell you what's been going on. Frankie is my handler still I can't shake him. I love him. He has shown me a lot of fun stuff. Which lead me to or hope to be my weekend puppy raiser. Her name is Heather. A wonderful lay who lives at a zoo :). Which is cool because I play with all those silly animals (check out this picture of me and KK) and her kids.

I've been working on the basics! Not jumping on people, the trash, under the table, patience, when the door opens, walking track, staying on the leash on the right side when we walk. The crate is alright as of right now, but I've been working on all of this! My brothers left me all alone... Rowan and Parker one out for a week!! When Parker finally walked through that gate, I ran and bit him right in the butt! I also lost my favorite toy in the world (mousy). I'm sad about that, but Franky and Justin gave me a fox!
Check out this photo with my best bud, Zach!

For some reason my handlers love to walk in giant circles over and over. I don't get it!!! We aren't going anywhere!!! At first, I cried because it was scary, but they share yummy treats with me so ehh... it ain't that bad! My handlers talk a lot... It's always something... "kong, donkey, water, play"? All I know is "mouse" because I love my toy mouse!!! It's furry and it squeaks when I bite it... ahhh life is sweet. I can walk up and down stairs like a champ. I'm trying to enjoy my crate, but as of now I'd rather pass...
I am part poodle, so I prefer treats of high value... my favorite past time is keeping my head to the floor and sniffing this new world. I have two brothers, an adopted brother, and a bunch of big brothers, and one crazy sister. I love wrestling with them and, of course, my favorite toy is my mouse!
